It’s no secret that Taylor Swift is a force of nature right now. The pop icon is one of the most successful artists with dozens of awards and legions of fans. She has an estimated net worth of over a billion dollars and is one of the most influential A-listers in the world. But despite all those accolades many of her fellow celebrities can’t stand her.

So today we’ll look at her feuds with other celebs. There are many. We’ll be looking at resentful ex-boyfriends and Swift’s jealous competition. The sheer number of haters is incredible because they can’t stand her. It’s lonely being at the top of the mountain, as she’s discovered. Check out the celebs who hate Swift right here.

John Mayer

Swift famously had her first celebrity relationship with fellow pop star Mayer. At the time, he was more famous than her but she has since eclipsed him by a wide margin. The pair broke up after five months but Mayer provided cannon fodder for Swift’s songs. She infamously wrote about him in the song ‘Dear John.’ Later, Swift intervened to stop her fans abusing him on Twitter.

Mayer said that it humiliated him (via The Richest). He explained: “I will say as a songwriter that I think it’s kind of cheap songwriting. I know she’s the biggest thing in the world, and I’m not trying to sink anybody’s ship, but I think it’s abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, ‘Wait till he gets a load of this!'”

Nicki Minaj

In 2015, Minaj made it obvious that she had no time for Swift. Things exploded after Swift’s video for ‘Bad Blood’ received a VMA nomination. However, this irritated Minaj who felt that there was an agenda against her. She tweeted: “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year.”

Swift rebuked her for pitting women against each other and it seemed like the story fizzled out. But then Minaj began discussing further about racism in the industry with Piers Morgan and Katy Perry involving themselves. It was a messy situation and showed why people can’t stand Swift (via Billboard).

Justin Bieber

It’s no surprise that Bieber doesn’t have the best relationship with Swift because of his relationship with Selena Gomez. The pair had a dramatic public relationship and now Gomez is arguably Swift’s closest celebrity confidante. However, she reportedly can’t stand Bieber, who even made her cry.

The Beebs pranked her on Punk’d in 2012. They blew up a boat and he pretended there was a wedding on it. Then they carried on the lie for too long and had Swift in emotional ruins. Meanwhile, Bieber was on the other side of the Scooter Braun war so they openly despised each other (via Nicki Swift).

Everybody knows that Swift doesn’t have much respect for Fey and Poehler. That’s because the pair mocked her relationships when they hosted the Golden Globes. This rubbed Swift up the wrong way and she even responded to their comments.”There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women,” Swift famously told Vanity Fair.

However, this is nonsense because the pair have done incredible work to enhance respect for female comics. Furthermore, they also have charities for young girls. They clearly can’t stand Swift because Fey also made a joke about Poehler going to hell after her partner won her first Golden Globe.

Taylor’s Squad is like the ultimate sorority group with members including Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, and Martha Hunt. However, Moretz is one talented Hollywood actress who wants no part of it. She attracted heat after revealing she rejected an invitation to join the exclusive club (via Complex).

Moretz said: “They appropriate exclusivity. They’re cliques.” However, she refused to expand further in the interview despite making it clear that she can’t stand them. Later, she defended her comments and said that she wasn’t hating on Swift as an individual. Her fans respected her stance because it was very brave.

There was a time when Underwood and Swift were two of the biggest names in country music. Now Underwood owns that world while Swift transcended it to become a pop icon. However, they reportedly can’t stand each other although tensions may be cooling between them (via Nicki Swift).

Things reached a head after Underwood joked about Swift’s relationship with Conor Kennedy. They reportedly asked to sit far from each other at the 2013 Grammies. It’s wrong to say that they had a bad relationship because they didn’t have one at all. Underwood has said some nice things about Swift in recent years.

Jonas is another of Swift’s exes who can’t stand her now. He once tweeted: “I’m not going to openly say, ‘This person is a b*tch, and she did this to me. I don’t feel the need to do that to sell records.” The pair don’t like each other and Jonas resents that she wrote songs about him.

Their toxic relationship deteriorated even further in 2023 after Jonas split with his wife Sophie Turner. Swift instantly entered the picture and provided support for the former Game of Thrones actress. It may seem ridiculous that anybody would body shame Swift because she’s a beautiful young woman. However, she has attracted criticism from several celebrities because she’s successful and skinny. He tweeted in 2014: “Someone should make a Kickstarter to get Taylor Swift a booty.” The DJ didn’t realize how passionate the Swifties were because he threw gas on the fire. They passionately defended their pop princess on the Internet and made life incredibly difficult for him for a while.

There’s no lost love between Kardashian and Swift despite being two of the most powerful A-listers in the world. Kardashian can’t stand Swift and called her a liar. The reality star said that Swift knew that her ex-husband Kanye West would include explicit lyrics about her in a song. However, Swift flatly denied this.

Kardashian said: “She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t. I swear, my husband gets so much s*** for things when he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved. What rapper would call a girl that he was rapping a line about to get approval?”

To say that Braun can’t stand Swift is possibly the understatement of the century. The 2019 beef between the two ignited a civil war at the top of the music industry. Heavyweights including Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande remained under contract with the music titan until 2023. It came after Braun took control of Swift’s albums against her will.

“All I could think about was the incessant, manipulative bullying I’ve received at his hands for years,” she wrote on Tumbler (via Us Magazine). “Now Scooter has stripped me of my life’s work, that I wasn’t given an opportunity to buy. Essentially, my musical legacy is about to lie in the hands of someone who tried to dismantle it. This is my worst-case scenario.”

This Pretty Little Liars star made waves when she openly criticized the Kardashians and Taylor Swift in 2016. First, she disparaged the Kardashians as being like the royal family. Reportedly, Lorde and Swift are friends but it may be a one-sided relationship. That’s because the New Zealand songstress has some very weird views about her connection to Nashville’s queen. She said that it was like having a friendship with someone who had an autoimmune disease.

Lovato notoriously can’t stand Swift and is very open about this. The former Disney star once had a good relationship with Selena Gomez but it broke down when Swift entered the picture. Nobody will forget the moment he stormed the stage during the VMAs in 2009. Meanwhile, West secretly recorded a phone call with Swift and also included a nude sculpture of her in a video. Swift said that the phone recording mentally affected her and caused serious trust issues moving forward in all of her relationships.

This is very petty and the main reason why Bieber can’t stand Swift is because of her husband. In another life, there’s a solid chance that she would also be a member of Taylor’s Squad.
