Very few people if any want to deal with arrogant people. Not only do they cause drama, but their egos are so big that it’s always their way or the highway. A lot of the time, we are forced to accept them as they are and try not to slap them in the face. The only thing we can do is leave their fate in karma’s hands and wait for life fails to get them back.

Luckily, there are incidences where arrogant people were put in their place after making a huge scene out of nothing. Karma taught a lot of them an immediate lesson. These people certainly got what they deserved, in the form of losing a competition, damaging their car, or losing money. We can only hope they learned from their mistakes, even though it was the hard way. Sometimes, that’s the only way to get a point across, so check out these incredibly arrogant people who got put in their place right here.

People in the Army go through days, weeks, and months of training that rips them to shreds. We can only imagine the sort of experiences they have to go through. That being said, many army vets still go on to become arrogant people. In a way, they deserve to be because they had to deal with a lot. Sometimes, though, they’re put in their place and are shown that normal people can also succeed just as much as they can.

This soldier’s mom beat him at a shooting range at a carnival. Honestly, he might’ve beat his mom in the field, but the fact she beat him at a carnival says a lot. We’d have loved to see his reaction when he realized she roasted him. At least it’s a friendly mother-son match that leaves room for bonding (via Constative).

The Matura takes place in European and German-speaking countries and is simply a secondary school exam. To graduate from high school, many students must take this test. Just because you’re a high schooler, doesn’t mean you’re immune to arrogance, this girl being one of them.

After bragging about her near-perfect score, and mentioning that no one ever gets a perfect score, she was quickly put in her place. This student scored 100%, while many other students were in the 85% range. The look on her face when she realized someone beat her school must’ve been priceless (via Constative).

Some of the most arrogant people on the planet are also arrogant drivers. For some reason, they think that everyone around them should move to the side of the road so they could pass. They’re usually the types of people that tailgate, honk their horns, and nearly cause an accident. They also raise their blood pressure to impossibly high levels from all the times they scream at others on the road.

This Reddit user shared their experience with an arrogant driver, who tailgated them in a construction zone. After illegally passing him, the driver was pulled over by the cops. They said, “those flashing lights were a beautiful sight.” Indeed, they probably were. That’s the kind of karma we all hope for with aggressive drivers (via Reddit).

If you need to brag that you’re the smartest guy in the room, chances are, you’re not. You’re probably insecure and afraid. This guy stormed into a bar and bragged he was smarter than all the local ‘Bumpkins.’ He quickly realized that he was the Bumpkin when he lost and didn’t even score in the top 10.

To make matters worse, and to make himself feel better, he complained that he lost to “a gang of old retired f*ck ups that have nothing better to do.” That sounds awfully like a projection. This guy needs to get a new hobby and pick up a book or two. Getting so worked up over a university pub quiz just isn’t worth it (via Constative).

Stealing something from someone weaker and smaller than you isn’t kind at all. It’s usually caused by insecurity and lack of empathy. It’s especially common in elementary and high school when bullies are on the loose. If you’re that mean when you’re younger, chances are, you’ll turn into one of those arrogant people who pick on weaker individuals.

This arrogant elementary school student, who thought he was better than a little girl, stole a ball from her, chucked it in the opposite direction, and then got smacked in the face when it bounced right back. Let’s hope he learned his lesson from this instant karma and never did anything like that again (via Reddit).

It’s horrible when kids have to pay for things their parents do. You don’t choose the family you’re born into, let alone the types of jobs your parents have. Growing up, this kid flaunted his family’s money. Even though he was one of those arrogant people who bragged about his wealth, we can cut him some slack since he was young and didn’t know any better.

Unfortunately, he quickly learned that his dad was embezzling money illegally and that this wealth wasn’t well-deserved. His dad ended up in jail, which humbled him. We can feel sorry for him because none of that ended well (via Constative).

We’ve all been in S mode and have had to deal with at least one S in our lives. They seem to come out of nowhere, and love making us feel bad about ourselves in the hopes they will gain some sort of power over us. Usually, they don’t succeed and end up making a fool of themselves. These are the types of arrogant people we want to stay away from.

This person shares their story, about a time they were flat out told they would lose in a race. After starting the race, they quickly realized they were not only winning, but so far ahead that they couldn’t even see their competition. Their team ended up coming in second, and the arrogant person’s team came in 5th or 6th. That just goes to show you that arrogance is not the way, and you usually just end up making a fool of yourself in the end (via Constative).

It seems like it’s common for men to look down on women and try to make themselves feel better by belittling them. A lot of the time, the men end up making a fool of themselves when the woman shows her true inner strength and gives women around the world a good name. This woman in particular dealt with one of those arrogant people who think they’re better just because they’re a man.

Well, he messed with the wrong woman. She was so skilled in martial arts that she beat him to a pulp. This woman showed her true dominance and dojo by swinging her sword at lightning speed. She was so quick, that he didn’t even have time to react. Way to go, girl (via Constative).

When your partner downright makes fun of your sex life in front of people, it’s probably because you deserved it. Arrogant people always get what’s coming to them, just like this guy. After bragging about how he’s the best, he was put to the test. And not in a good way – in a very embarrassing way, actually.

When someone mentioned they’ve heard about hot Italian lovers, his wife said she’s heard about them too, implying that his love-making skills were horrendous. He has a lot of learning to do if it’s not too late. It sounds like one way of breaking up with someone. At the very least, his ego was taken down a few notches (via Constative).

This guy thought it was going to be a seamless, epic win. He became one of those arrogant people that think it’s a good idea to brag to everyone about how powerful and likable they are. Usually, when you have to tell people you’re the best person in the world, it usually means you’re not.

People who know they’re the best don’t have to say it. Ironically, this guy got less than 10 votes out of more than 1,000. This just goes to show you that you need to keep your mouth shut. Hopefully, this lesson broke down his ego and taught him a thing or two about what it takes to be a person people like. He’s doing something wrong (via Constative).

Arrogant people who think it’s okay to damage someone else’s property and then lie about it deserve to be punished. This neighbor damaged this person’s car but didn’t have enough courage to stand up for his mistake and do something about it. Because they couldn’t prove it was him, they were left helpless.

But karma doesn’t let people get away that easily. One week later, he rammed the car straight into his garage after mistaking the gas pedal for a brake. Juvenile mistake. That’s what you get for lying and being dishonest (via Reddit).

Shopping carts are no joke. It’s almost as if they have a mind of their own. This arrogant woman was quickly put in her place after she acted like she didn’t have to bring her cart back to the shop. It’s like she thinks she’s above those respectful people who make those cart collectors’ jobs easier.

Instead of returning her cart, which helped her carry her groceries, she pushed the cart into a parking lot without any regard for anyone except herself. Just then, the wind blew and the cart rammed straight into her car. She deserved every single bit of that. That would’ve been a sight to see. Arrogant people deserve more punishment like this (via Reddit).

When someone cuts the line, it’s rude. Extremely rude. Especially when there are people who patiently waited their turn. Arrogant people always think they’re above everyone else. Why do those line cutters always seem to get away with it? Well, it turns out they don’t. Someone decided to cut a line of cars waiting to board a packed ferry.

When the workers kindly asked them to leave, they turned around in an angry outrage, as if they thought they didn’t deserve to be told to turn around. As they left, they turned their car over and into a ditch. Hilariously enough, people around cheered at the outcome. As bad as it sounds, he deserved it (via Reddit).

When anyone gets defeated by someone younger than them, it’s embarrassing. It’s even more embarrassing when it comes immediately after you were acting like one of those arrogant people who were full of themselves. This martial arts guy got it handed to him when he bragged in front of a group of high school students.

To make matters worse, he asked an audience member to come down and try and break him out of his arm hold. In a matter of minutes, the top male gymnast came down and not only broke him out of his hold but dislocated his shoulder in the process. He certainly taught this martial arts guy who was boss (via Constative).

According to this person, there’s no such thing as being ready for a baby. Even if you’re one of the most mentally and financially stable people in the world, nothing will take you down like having a kid. And just when you think you’ve got the hang of it as most arrogant people do, the baby will begin crying or teething, or somehow change the game all over again.

It’s one way to take your confidence down a few notches. That’s why most people wait before having kids, or never even have kids in the first place (via Constative).

That’s one way of sticking it to them! Telling your ex that you “hope they get sh*tted on” certainly expresses and encapsulates every type of emotion out there. To be honest, we’ve all embodied an arrogant person that has said that once or twice. Perhaps even more. Usually, we immediately apologize, but not all the time.

This person didn’t apologize, but karma made sure he would. After hanging up the phone, a flock of geese flew over him and sh*t into his lap. He got what he deserved (via Reddit).

Playing hooky from school or work feels invigorating. We’re doing something we’re not supposed to do. Even though it’s a lot of fun, it’s not fair to our coworkers who have to take on our responsibility. This Reddit user shares their experience with their boss, who decided to take a “sick” day from work and enjoy his long weekend.

Well, just because he’s a boss doesn’t make him better than everyone else. He’s one of those arrogant people that got what’s handed to him. He ended up getting sick and having to miss even more work. His coworkers must’ve been pretty thrilled at the outcome (via Reddit).

To this child, there is only one parent, and that’s mommy. We feel sorry for that dad, who probably does half the work. Technically, the mom did do all the work and carried the child in her womb for nine months.

His Mom Won
