All of us are somewhat lazy at some point in our lives. It’s normal to exhibit some form of laziness here and there. While we may feel guilty for our lack of effort, there are certain people out there who exert another level of laziness altogether. Their minimal efforts are admirable, and they seem to get by doing as little work as possible.

Some of us may even wish we could achieve our level of laziness, but it almost feels like more work than it’s worth. Next time you feel too lazy to get off your couch for a cup of water, just remember the people in the stories below are actually real. Check out the laziest people who sent the internet into a frenzy here.

When you’re on the couch, it’s sometimes as if nothing else exists. Getting off of the couch feels like an immense effort that some of us never succeed at doing. When you finally stand up to grab something, you probably realize it was much easier than you thought. But this Reddit user proved that you could get your tasks done without leaving the couch, even if you do it in a very roundabout way. Instead of standing up to get his credit card, the OP used his friend’s credit card, which he had on the couch, to buy something and then transferred him the money. That couch must be very, very comfortable (via Reddit).

If something annoys us, we usually do something about it, whether it involves moving something or changing our setting. But the OP’s friend proved that someone can be too lazy to move something that bothers them. The OP decided to move the wire because it annoyed him. When he got up to change it, his friend thanked him because it was bothering him for weeks. He was too lazy to stand up and move a wire, so he just left it there, letting it bother him. When did moving a wire become a colossal task? We’re losing hope in society (via Reddit).

In the winter, it’s incredibly important to make sure we defrost our windshields before we drive our car. If we don’t, we could get into a serious accident. It’s important to plan, so you have extra time in the morning to turn your car on and let the defroster work its magic. The OP was too lazy to defrost their car, so instead of cleaning it, they drove it covered in ice. We’re not sure how they saw out the windshield, because it didn’t work. This person ended up crashing their car, which isn’t surprising. If your laziness gets in the way of your safety, you need to reconsider driving (via Funnies Now).

The first thing we do when we get an apple is take the sticker off. It’s unpleasant biting into a juicy apple only to find out you ate the sticker. It takes a couple of seconds to peel off the sticker and toss it into the trash and it’s worth the effort. The OP’s friend was too lazy to take that extra step to ensure a juicy experience. They ate around the sticker. That means there’s a huge chunk of apple they’re missing out on because they don’t want to take the peel off (via Reddit).

One of the best things in college is wearing your pajamas to class. No one thinks twice about wearing pajamas, and it helps ease the stress that comes with making those early morning classes on time. The OP’s college roommate took it a step further. He never wore pants to class, and to top it all off, when it was too warm outside, he cut off the legs. We’re wondering how often he washed his pajamas and if he made any effort to at least have several pairs of pajamas. At the very least, he can thank his “pajorts” for helping him earn his undergrad degree (via Reddit).

When we’re comfortably sitting on the couch and the remote is out of reach, it feels like a horrendous task to get up, grab the remote, and reposition ourselves. It’s not worth it. The OP’s friend was not only too lazy to grab the remote, but instead of sucking it up and getting the remote, he used someone else’s arm like a trash picker-upper. He laid a girl’s arm on the remote, asked her to grab it for him, and then moved her arm to his stomach. It’s an impressive way to make use of your surroundings (via Reddit).

Relationships are complicated, especially when there are deep feelings involved. Some relationships succeed, though, without good communication, most relationships fail. Some people end up dating for the wrong reasons, just like this OP’s ex-roommate. Instead of breaking up with his girlfriend, he kept her around because she did his laundry and walked his dog. Though it sounds like a great way to get your chores done, that’s not a good reason to date someone. He only broke up with her after college, when he moved back home and his mom took care of his chores. He has a skewed perspective on how a relationship should operate, and his laziness is getting in the way of his healthy relationships (via Reddit).

When pizza calls, there’s no stopping it. We need to satisfy our craving by ordering a pie pronto. The OP’s brother wanted pizza so badly, he figured out a way to order pizza and keep a high level of laziness. Instead of calling the pizza place himself, he called his brother on his phone, told him to come upstairs, and gave him his phone to order pizza. Pizza and laziness go hand in hand (via Reddit).

When we want something, there’s no stopping us. Not even laziness. The OP’s friend was lazy enough to stay in bed when he wanted to play The Sims 3, which was in the other room. But instead of getting out of bed to get the CD, he pirated it so he didn’t have to leave the room. Instead of a seamless download, it put him over the download limit, thus preventing him from playing. It looks like something is trying to tell him not to play The Sims 3 (via Reddit).

When we were in high school, most of us wanted to show off our new rides. We felt like the coolest kid in school if we had a nice car, especially when our peers’ cars were less than par. The OP’s classmate wanted to show off his car while being lazy. Instead of walking to school, he drive 200 meters and parked it in the school’s lot. The worst part is that he had to walk farther from the parking lot than from his house (via Reddit).

We leave picture frames, decorations, furniture, and shelves in our homes for years or decades without moving them. If we like how it looks, there’s no need to move things around. It’s part laziness, part satisfaction, and content. But this family not only left their furniture alone for years but a glass of water, too. It became a part of their home decor. When the OP visited the hoarder’s house as a freshman in high school, they spotted a glass of water on top of the TV> Four years later, when they graduated, that same glass was still there. The family was either lazy or enjoyed the water placement (via Reddit).

Most of us are guilty of trying to cut corners when it comes to dishes. If we can avoid using a plate or spoon, that’s less work for us in the future. This OP was too lazy to get utensils, and he figured out a way to skip the dishes altogether. He stuck a knife into a jar of peanut butter and then into a box of Cheerios, like a shish-kabob. Even though he felt ashamed, he felt proud enough to share his lazy endeavor with the world (via Reddit).

When someone doesn’t respect someone else’s property, it says a lot about them. They’re disrespectful and rude. It’s always appreciated when someone cleans up after themselves, especially in a public place. This person did not. If they leave the bathroom like this and are too lazy to pick up their paper towels, could you imagine what their house looks like? There are zero excuses for why they couldn’t put the paper towel into the trash bin (via Funnies Now).

When we find a two-for-one deal, it feels like we hit the jackpot. When done properly, cutting corners saves time and money. But when it’s not done properly and is simply a result of our undeniable laziness, then that’s something we need to look into. The OP tried to do a two-for-one shower deal when they decided to shower every other midnight, so it counts for both days. Technically, they’re not wrong, and it looks like they discovered a shower hack, even though it’s simply them being lazy (via Reddit).

Sticking our garbage in random places is unacceptable. If everyone did that, the world would be disgusting. Garbage cans exist for a reason. This person does not understand how to use a trash can, nor do they seem to care. Instead of throwing away their cup into the garbage, they decided to stick them on the store’s shelf, next to the Funfetti. This person is either lazy or rude because they’re not respectful (via Funnies Now).

As we’ve mentioned earlier, cutting corners saves us time and money when it’s done properly. But when you’re a lazy person who’s trying to avoid doing the dishes for the rest of your life, you have a problem. Instead of washing the dishes, this OP’s roommate throws them into the garbage. What a waste! That’s producing way more waste than using soap and water to wash the dishes. They need to go back to school and learn a thing or two about the environment (via Funnies Now).

Kleenex is fantastic when you have a cold. There’s nothing better than using a soft tissue to wipe away all the gunk. The OP’s friend uses Kleenex a bit differently than most of us do, and his laziness is to blame. Instead of using the Kleenex and tossing it into the bin, he jams them up his nose and walks around in public without a care in the world. We’ll give him credit for the confidence (via Reddit).

Taking our dogs for a walk is one of the greatest ways to bond with our best friends. Nothing beats that wag of the tail and cute bark we hear when our dogs see us picking up our leashes. It’s also a great way to get exercise and be outside, especially during the spring and summer months. The OP saw someone walking their dog, but not in the way you’d think. They walk their dog using the epitome of laziness, their car. They stuck the leash outside the window and drove around their block in circles. At least the dog is getting some exercise because that person surely needs to head to the gym (via Reddit).

It seems like people never want to wash the dishes. This person not only took the last bite of food but didn’t wash the dishes after. Instead, they put it right back in the fridge, dirty spoon and all, and left it there for someone else to clean up. The next person who finds this has to work hard to scrub the grease off of the container. Whoever finished the food didn’t even leave one bit for the next person as a reward for cleaning their dirty dishes (via Funnies Now).

Rewatching a movie or TV series brings back memories we may not have remembered. Watching a movie a second, or a third time also gives us the chance to see things we may have missed the first time around. Usually, we wait a few weeks or months before re-watching a movie. The OP’s brother decided to rewatch a movie, solely because he was too lazy to take the disc out of the machine. It sounds like a pattern because when they were younger, he would stick dirty bowls under the couch instead of bringing them back to the kitchen and washing them (via Reddit).

Getting a lift somewhere makes our lives a lot easier, especially when it shaves off a bunch of time. Even if it’s a short distance, it’s always better to have a five-minute lift than a thirty-minute walk. But what if you had to wait hours for your ride? The OP’s coworker does just this. Instead of walking a quarter of a mile to her house after work, she prefers to wait up to five hours for one of her coworkers to get off work and drive her home. She’s too lazy to walk the short distance home. What does she do to pass the time? That’s a lot of hours spent doing… nothing (via Reddit).

Artists make the world go round. Their colorful, unique minds give us peace from our stressful lives and a form of entertainment we wouldn’t normally have. But only when it’s done with respect and passion, unlike the people shown in this photograph. The OP posted a photo of people trying out different color sprays to figure out which one they liked, with no respect toward the people who have to clean it up. Instead of asking a staff member, they succumbed to their lazy lifestyle and decided to try out the paint for themselves (via Funnies Now).

People who move shopping carts around are some of the laziest people out there. Instead of bringing the cart back to the store, they leave the cart next to their car. They’re too lazy to walk the extra 30 seconds and return the cart to their place. Most of the time it’s annoying, but sometimes, it affects someone’s life. As we can see here, this father cannot get to the store with his daughter in the stroller because there are too many shopping carts in the way. Next time you’re about to leave your cart somewhere, think twice (via Funnies Now).

We’re all about working hard for your dreams. Even if that means giving up sleep and spending your nights working away for what you want most in the world. But there are some things you don’t give up, like going to the bathroom. This person was so lazy, they peed into gallons so they could continue sitting by their computer. Instead of getting up to pee, they chose a much, much grosser option. Doesn’t it smell? We’re all about doing what works best for you, but this just crossed the line (via Funnies Now).

Eating fruits on a hike is great because we can usually toss the core or peel right into the bushes. It doesn’t work for paper bags or plastic, which is why we have to stick them in our backpacks or find nearby garbage. The OP was walking behind someone too lazy to find a garbage bin. Instead of throwing the garbage away, they pretended to accidentally drop it and left it propped against a building. The worst part? The garbage bin was 10 feet away; via Reddit).

The Roundabout Way To Shop Online
